No daily song or verse for today. Just a quote:
“President Obama has the power to stop this ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ business. Just sign an executive order. I don’t know why it’s taking so long—it’s not fair. We should stop this nonsense.”
- Bill O’Reilly
I wrote about this after Obama’s State of the Union. And he keeps on making promises. Keeps on pretending like progress is happening. Keeps on getting indignant when we call him out.
You know what, Mr. President? When Bill O’Reilly is a bigger ally than you, you’re no longer a fierce advocate. You can, as Mr. O’Reilly pointed out, end this with a pen stroke. It is time, in the immortal words of Woody Harrelson, to nut up or shut up.
And until then, I’m not going to work for you, as I did in 2008, or donate to your party. It’s not that I won’t vote for you guys, but right now, I have many more important things to spend my money on. I hope you understand.
